nv5600 adapter

will the adapter plate on the back of the motor for a nv5600 work for a nv4500 is there any difference? i am swapping the auto out of my truck and putting a nv4500 in

I changed from a nv5600 to nv4500 and it bolted right up.

I swapped a NV5600 into where my auto was and it also bolted up.

Believe all the trannys use the same bolt pattern. U will need the starter spacer with the 5600 tho!

We just finished a nv5600 swap in a 1997 truck that had an auto. We used the auto trans adapter, no starter spacer and we installed a 13" clutch. It all depends which flywheel you use, ring gear location determines starter location.
