The shop is ready to cut my O-rings in tomorrow, and I just want to confirm specifics with the experts out there...

.041 stainless wire

.010 protrusion

located on the center of the combustion ring.

This truck sees as much track as street. Is that the preferred specifications?

I have set them .011 for years.. BHJ tool .041 wire cut .030 deep in the head.

Here lately been doing .013 for CR trucks.. 3 to 4 retqs on arp studs

Thanks!

I ended up going with .010

But since I run pretty high boost numbers (90psi), I was still worried about them holding up. So I got to talking to the machinist, and he has done double O-rings on some pulling tractors lately, said that he's never had that fail. So, since I'm the type that likes to experiment, I had him do double O-rings on my head. I plan on several re-torques @ 140lbs before I even try to start it. Maybe it will work great, maybe it was a bad idea, I guess I'll find out.
