Odd situation with fuel pressure

I was chasing a rough start issue with my '95 when it got cold out here. I replaced the OFV with a Tork-Tek adjustable one. My problem went away. I also replaced the fuel line from the tank, deleted the preheater, new bowl gasket, and installed a fuel pressure gauge. I've searched on the "other forums" extensively, but I can't find out if I now have a problem.

My pressure gauge says I have 45 psi at idle, and 30 psi under full load. I have the line running directly from a Tork-Tek banjo bolt to the gauge with no snubber. I filled the line with a little fuel before I started it, as well as cracked the lines to purge all air from the system. I don't understand why I would have that high of a pressure at idle, or if it's a problem and I don't think the gauge is reading wrong. The truck starts up and runs great, I just thought it odd that the gauge was reading that. Thoughts?
