I have a 94' that I cut down to RCSB, did the 4k gsk, no plate, tuned AFC, new air filter, and exhaust.
The issue that I am having is kind of a hard start first thing in the morning after sitting all night. It rolls over and tries to start, I turn let off the key then try again and it fires and idles a little rough for a couple seconds(literally), then it smooths out perfect at about 900rpm. I let it warm up for about 5 minutes every morning. I only drive about 6-8 minutes to work, but when I get to work, I usually sit in my truck for 10 minutes or so before I shut it off. After an 8-9hr day I can come out and it starts up perfect, no hesitation, no rough idle:banghead:.

Could this be my OFV letting just enough fuel by to slightly lose prime in the pump after sitting 12-15hrs? I have stretched the spring a little and added the bic pen spring, but if i get down, and press on the lift pump real hard I can here what sounds like a little bit of air passing through.
OFV is not all that expensive from what I have seen, and I hope this will fix it
Any one use TORK TECH? If so, which one given my mostly stock application?

THanks in advance for any input, Dustin

its not the ofv, i run a tork tek that doesnt have a ball in it al all

more than lickely a leak in the injector/retun lines somewhere, your losing prime or adding air between the pump and injectors

tighten all your lines and return bolts

Is the fuel heater still in place? Check the connector for fuel. If it is leaking. chunk it. Don't need it anyway.

OrangeNV: Hmm, didn't even think of that(rookie:doh:).I'll go over and tighten everything up after work.

golfer: Yea, I have been meaning to check/clean the screen in it, but I have read that it is not needed. FLorida is a fuel heater! Anything special needed for removing it? Plug, Cap, etc.?

After removing the prefilter insert a 5/16 or 8mm allen in the center bolt and remove the heater. Don't reinstall the bolt, just the prefilter. Thought I would clear my last post a bit.

having same symptom right now

except i have a direct leak right below my lift pump... on the left side of the block.. what im doing to solve it, is check the LP, return lines, and fuel heater...

on my old 96 was on the return lines, on this one, not sure yet, but im leaning towards the fuel heater...
