oil cooler interchangeability

Does anyone know if I can use the 03-07 oil cooler in a 6.7 block? The 6.7 oil cooler is $400 plus and the early ones are less than $100. I have both 5.9 and 6.7 filter housings. I am not going to be able to inspect them for a while to see if there is a difference in the housings, and I threw away all my oil coolers.

Yes you can, I'm using my 5.9 oil cooler and housing on a 6.7 block.

When I lived in PA and went to get parts from Jeff I asked him this very question and he told me a 5.9 cooler would work in the 6.7 block.
