Oil leak

Just put a new 99 24v motor in my cummins, and i have noticed a little oil leak coming out of the blow by tube. Now the motor has sat for 2 years. Is it just trying to break it self back in?

yeah it is not to big. my only concern was that when i check the dipstick most of the time the oil has not moved at all.... just didn't want any fuel or anything going into the oil pan

Take it from someone who has had fuel in their oil, it will be VERY obvious LOL

how did u find out fuel was getting into your oil pan?

Every time I parked I would cover the entire spot in oil. My entire under carriage would be dripping oil.

Thats what I'm dealing with as we speak. Motor rebuilt time in a couple months.
loosing lots of oil, but the pan is always full.... ringless lol
