My neighbor has a truck in his driveway with a severe oil leak. The owner took it to a shop and they said something along the lines of the lifter cover leaking. Is there such an animal and does it leak? Where the hell is it and what's the easiest way to change it?

Pull the injection pump.....it's on the side of the block. I had Reusch Diesel install a Haisley billet cover on mine when I blew it.
