Ok, why is it THIS slow??

Colin I don't think its your tune. If you saw a 14.5 I would say tune but 15's is high.
I would have someone scan it.

dont feel bad, for some reason my truck will not trap over 94 mph eric says i should be somewhere between 96 and 98... I wish there was a cheap way to monitor my fuel pressure going down the track, without spending $200+ on a colbalt gauge like i have now.

for your ET that mph is spot on

You mean scan it for codes? Can my SCT not check em?

I'm not sure the SCT can scan it or not. I have this guy 20 minutes from me that does all my work. Will call him Doug. He put the computer to it and found the low voltage on the ICP and a bad injector. Then HPOP.:bang

The SCT will not scann all the codes Colin. I had several that the SCT did not pick up. One was a 2287, ICP intermittent code. Kind of a biggie.

true. is there a way to calculate 1/4 mile times from 1/8 mile times? fwiw my best 1/8 time was 8.9 @75

your 1/8 is .05 slower than mine and i was at 75.88mph, that was with top end fueling issues so your times all match up but that could be because you're low on power... i used to have a good calculator for 1/8 to 1/4 favorited but i don't know what happened to it

hmmm maybe my truck just needs a diet. its weird... how some tuned 6.0's just seem to be stronger than other tuned 6.0's in others in similar configurations.

yeah that's how it seems to work out.. are there any years of 6.0s that are faster than others?

I just picked up another 6.0 truck and it is having issues in the 1/4 as well. Wouldn't trap over 92 and mostly traps 91. Best 1/4 was 14.15.
Broke down like this:
60' 1.810 330' 5.594 660' (1/8) 8.873 @ 74.55 1000' 11.721 1320' (1/4) 14.152 @ 92.03
Best 60' was a 1.782 best 1/8 was a 8.861 @ 73.98 best 1/4 mph was 92.53 (on a 14.18 et).

I was running Elite's Insanity file. The first half of the track is right where I should be but it just would not mile per hour out the big end. I could almost feel the truck quit pulling around 85mph with alot of track left. On the SCT performance file it pulled 90.5 mph but only 14.43 with a 1.85 60" and 9.08 1/8 so I don't think it is the tune.

do you have any way to check your HPOP pressure?

Not really. I suppose I could make one up but my hihgest gauge only goes to 3500 and has a 4000 rated line. would those be high enough to be safe? Is there a way to read it electronicly

i'm not sure on the psi of the 6.0 HPOPs but a stock HPOP on a 7.3 in GREAT working condition will hold about 3100 psi at WOT after it levels off, if it's in bad condition they hold anywhere below i'd say 2600psi, but the 6.0s could be higher
