One Piece Driveshaft

Your best bet is to measure from center to center of the joints and have one made. I had one made for my truck earlier this year by providing the driveline shop with that information.

haisley makes them and also pure diesel power has them but i believe they are haisley driveshafts also

Pissed me off, I had one made recently as well. I told them the center to center of the u-joints. And those goofy fawkers told me they wanted face of flange to face of tailshaft housing on the transfercase. I asked what's the difference? I figured it was better for them to know the center to center on the u-joints. How could the measurement be more accurate than that?

Anyhow I measured from face to face but did not include the dust seal portion of the transfercase tailshaft. They made my fawking driveline too long! Technically I have to take the blame for it, but what the hell they should have known something was up when the center to center of the u-joints didn't match up.

I'm still kinda hot about that.

I'm just weighing options right now. Only have one local shop doing aluminum shafts right now and they want just under $1700 for it. So I was wondering if anyone had any luck with shafts from someone.

going to try the one piece rear shaft next year from haisley with the 1480 joints hoping it turn out well. there used to be a place in southern indiana around vinceness called catts that made drive line parts but havent heard if they are around still

WTH, $1700?! Go with steel.

I had a place near me make one. Truck was a 97 Dodge ex-cab long bed. Cost me like $700.

Idaho is a little ways away from Illinois though

Mine cost me around $400 with brand new 1480 joints. Measure your center to center, mine if for sale as it does not work for a daily driver/tow rig.
