Opinion needed

Ok guys I finally got around to fixing my headgasket. I am being very anal in making sure everything goes back together right, but as luck would have it I gouged my brand new gasket while lowering the head back on. The spot is right in between cylinders 3 and 4, and it didn't go all the way to the metal. Would you guys trash the gasket and get a new one or just use it? I would hate to have to tear it down again as soon as the thermostat opens.

I wouldn't use it. It's easier to change now then it will be later.

its $100 +/- change it now and not worry about it or get a couple bottles of whiskey and always know it was jacked up when you installed it $.02

If it blows another im setting the truck on fire lol. Am I the only one that misses having a reliable daily driver? But I guess you gotta pay to play.

do it while it is still easy to get to, you won't be happy when u have to pul the head in the next couple of days again
