Eastland sledpull w/ vids - Dodge Cummins Diesel Forum

my truck is the silver quad cab short bed. just looking for ideas and opinions on what yall think would help. besides not blowing a boot lol. first pull was the first pull since we changed quite a bit plus the track was super muddy. i eased out of the hole and took a while to go WOT. thanks in advance.

to me it looks like on the second pull that its still lifting the front of the truck alot or squating it lol
 
Both my pulls were in 4th 4lo. 3.73 gears on 35 12.50s. The truck weighed 8230 with 800 on the nose and a full tank so I've got room to add more. Should I try hangin the almost other 300 on the nose? Also the second pull I left at 3500 rpms since the track was a lot better. My 4200 rpm tunes here now so next pull ill have it to try. Also how good of job are the tires workn for me? I got 6 free
 
Our weight limit is 8500lbs for 2.6 & 2.8. I've got plenty of power so dan from valair was wantin me to pull 5th gear to c how it did. Would 33s help that much? I've bn thinkn about makein it a dually but realy didn't wana run 33s
 
i would hang a 1000 off the front and yes i think 33's would help some but how much i do not know but putting dauls on it will deff help!!

do you have bump stops and ladder bars already?
 
How about airing the tires up a lil more, hangin 200 more off the nose, load the 4200 rpm tune, and try 5th gear? The trucks done 708 before a lot of mods. Should hopefully be pretty close to 750 now. Anything else?
