Do you have to gut the whole trans? Never had it all the way apart before, so I don't know. Just wondering how much work is ahead of me.

4wd re and a 2wd rh

Transmission can stay in, you just need to pull the od assembly. Tear it down, keep everything in the order it came out to make it easy to remember how to put it back. You'll need a press to get the OD apart far enough to get the output shaft out. There is a special tool but you can make one easy enough if you don't have it.

Perfect, thanks man.

Use a cap for a oxygen or similar large tank and cut one side open in the shape of a u and that will allow u to get clip on and off

Yea I figured I would put photo up but I was called into work early tonight. So first Thing in morning I'll post it up bud

There is a video on youtube about building an 47re. I used pvc pipe and a bottol jack and my bumper. Its prob not the most safe thing in the world but it worked for me.

Also, think I should upgrade anything while I have the rear apart for the output shaft? I've already upgraded everything in the front that you can when I did my input shaft.
