I figured you 2nd gen guys would know better then us 1st gens. I m in the process of puttin a ppump on the 1st gen. I need to re route the return line off the overflow valve. On the first gens the return line Ts off with the injector return line and runs back to the tank. From what i have read, this lines off the ppump routes to the fuel filter. Basically i just wanna cut the steel line off the O/F somewhere and run a rubber line to my original T. I just wanna make sure this line doesnt have a lot of pressure on it befor i go doing this. Thanks

There should be no pressure in the return from the injection pump.

Injector return goes to fuel filter housing. Return line for p-pump goes back to the tank.

I wont be running the fuel filter. On the 1st gens the fuel filter sits farther up front than the 2nd gens to from what i have read. And the return line on the VEs T with the injector return lines. Now that i know there isnt much pressure, i will just run rubber line off the overflow valve back to the T and run it to the tank. I dont see any problems with that

Sounds good that's what guys do when they go to an airdog or Fass and delete everything.

hey Case, just a heads up, and you might already know this. My son just p-pumped his 1st gen and has to get new injectors. He had recently put stage 3 DDP's into the first gen VE pumped motor, and called them to see what he needed to do. They said to send them back and they would reset the pop pressure to work with the p-pump. Got them back, installed them, and then found out that the p-pump line nuts are 2mm larger than the body threads on the first gen injectors. This might be old news to you, but was a suprise to us.
