p-pump id question

what is the best p-pump to start out with to modify in order to install onto a p-pumped puller? I hear a lot of 160,180,215,908,913 pumps ?? any help guys??

If you're going to change internal parts a 160 is usually cheaper to buy in the first place. A 913 is a 215 pump which is usually the most fuel stock for stock

Unless I read it wrong. I was assuming you wanted to best pump to strap right on without the big money of modifying. 913 all the way.

how to tell a pump sitting on the shelf if it is a 913 pump??

Last 3 numbers on the long a$$ number on the side of the pump.

kinda I want to modify it to flow more fuel and was told the 913 pump was the best base pump to start out with.
