P0236???

I understand this is the mapp sensor voltage too high too long, but cleaned the mapp sensor plug comming from the edge ez box and i have cleared this code 3 times already and keep popping back up any ideas???

Unplug edge ez and see if comes back if it does not there is a short in the edge ez harness or in box its self to a voltage higher then five. If still appears I don't recall whether the map is a 3 wire or 2 wire sensor but most likely a short or open. I would start by just unplugging the box most likely a short in the box.

ok thanks, do you know if there would be a way to test for a short in the box?

The only way I believe u can test the box is how I said. After that its testing the circuit board for shorts but that's a little more adanvce

Is it a 3 wire or 2 wire sensor. I can't remember
