Having trouble. Cant break loose with torktek remover, any suggestions?

Hit with hammer, heat truck up then remove, or keep threading the tool in.

Those things are a booger, I feel your pain. I had to remove my IP a few weeks back and that gear fought me tooth and nail. I wound up cranking the puller down as tight as she would go and hit the head of the puller with a BFH and it finally broke free.

I just finished breaking two pullers and broke a bolt off in the gear. Still ain't got it off yet. Anybody got a part no. for a good quality puller that works best for this? :bang

ive always used a steering wheel puller i modified and never had a problem, and that was when i was working at a pump shop, thats all we ever used but i assume this one would probably work best snap on- SP504

Ive got a modified steering wheel puller as well works pretty good on all series inj pumps for cummins. Seem to get more leverage than you can with the torktek or other pullers ive used.

I some puller from advanced and it bent it first try. it got it off hardly. i ordered one from xdp designed for p pumps and haven't gotten around to using it yet
