Part out 98 12v 5spd 2wd

A buddy of mine who does not get on the computer much has a 1996 ec lwb 2wd 12v 5spd that has a US Gear "dual range" overdrive unit. I believe the 5th gear nut will have to be addressed.

He's looking for $2000 for the motor with the 215 pump.

$1000 for the trans.

Or $3500 for the truck.

I figured better to put it up on here to see if anyone wants it before putting it on Craigslist.

Would he be willing to sell the throttle linkage setup that mounts to the pump seperate? The rod that goes with it as well and the spring

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I have pulled numerous NV4500s apart where the "dogs" on the 5th gear hub dropped into the gears and mangled 5th.
The possibility is high that there are teeth missing that are now in the bottom of the transmission waiting to continue the damage.

Then will pull it all out and put NE fluid in and use the od for 5th.. Can't hurt!
