I winder why the 241 DHD are so $$$....i though the 271's were stronger

I think it is cause they are readily available. Could be the same issue, as the 4500 versus 5600. Change out the input shaft on a 4500 and it will handle more HP than the 5600.

Whats happenin, I ended up talking to the guy i got the repo from and picked up the tranny and transfer case and another tranny (parts tranny). they both have a broken input shaft, well where the coggs are there are a few teeth missing on both of them. Im not familure with the manules in these trucks but they dont look bad.

I would trade them 3 off if somebody had something interesting to trade for..... but you already got rid of your redline. Guess i needed to be a little faster

Actually, I still have the redline, everyone wants it but no one has handed my any $$$. And do you know anyone with a DHD transfer case?? I will need one for the 97 puller. I think my DLD has a crack in the case!!!

Not a DHD right off hand. Wouldnt be interested in all 3 would ya, I dont really need them.

I just had my truck quit on me tonight comming home from grissom in greensburg. I think it might be my lift pump or a clogged filter. i only had a dribble come from the Inj pump and when i opened the filter blow down and cranked it, it was the same way so maybe i might have a bad lp. kind of bad to have a mech. lp go out with 40k on it.

No I dont need an auto, we have 5 dodge cummins and they are all 5sp. Hey what kind of lift pump do you have?? Sorry to here that.

I went with the 12v lp, ive got an aftermarked cam with the lobe.
