PCM

I have a question noone seems to know the answer too. I bought a 92 Dodge W250 4x4 5 speed with a bad pcm. I had someone offer me a pcm for the same year just for any auto. I was wondering if anyone had any idea on if i could use on auto pcm on my standard truck?? any help is appreciate, its my dd and cant get anywhere when the pcm is crap... thanks

What do you mean you can't get anywhere with a junk PCM, Whats the truck Doing?

it wont allow my speedo, odom, heat, or my alternator to charge so that i have to jump the truck but as soon as i turn it off it wont start. Sometimes leaving it run to long it will just shut off itself.

I used a std pcm on my auto. Everything workrd but overdrive.
I'd try it.

I heard you can use a standard pcm on an auto, just not the other way around, thats why i was asking..
