have a 96 12 valve and im puting it in my el camino the guys in the conversion section i havent got any replys on...... the pcs trans module+bd..suncoast valve body =standalone 47 re ??? does anyone know how good they are

I have a PCS controller and the suncoast valve body in our drag truck and have had no problems. I like how it works, you can also data log you tranny functions.

Suncoast is now making a valve body to use with the PCS controller?

I'm using one with the ATS valvebody in my Excursion. It's a nice unit. PCS has great customer service, BTW...

thanks guys i was jus wondering cus its like 2 gs im prob gunna get it from suncoast

I have the suncoast pcs stand alone setup. It comes from suncoast with a base tune that you can modify to your liking. If I remember correct it only takes a power, ground and tps signal for the basic function.

I added a few switches for overdrive cancel and shift table B.

You can program two different shift tables and swap from one to the other on the fly. I use one for normal driving and one for towing (slightly higher shift points).

One thing I don't like is that if I change my torque management setting on my smarty or fueling level, my shift tables are then off. Shift points are setup according to speed and throttle position. If you set torque management to wild, it doesn't take much throttle position to get moving!
