Asked this on DTR and only got one answer, but just want to make sure if its safe to install the injectors before the HPFP. Do performance injectors like the jammer 5s I have directly effect fuel pressure? I'm also wondering if they do, is it at all times... from idle to WOT?

Trying to get a better understanding of how the parts I plan to run will effect the big picture.

The bigger they are the lower your fuel pressure will drop. But whats your big picture lookin like?

Do u have a FP gauge yet... if u do dont let it go under 7lbs i would say with the injectors.... if u dont have a FP gauge i would not even think about running larger injectors... until u get a better LP or at least a FP gauge. VP-44 are and expensive fix for laziness...

You can run them but they will bring your WOT pressure down some. But it won't hurt your cruising pressure.

Yes I have a FP gauge and I know where it shouldn't go... just needed to know if I could install the injectors safely before I install the HPFP. I ordered the HPFP with the 1/2 upgrade from vulcan, so thats on its way. Just getting ancy... ever since I took off the adrenaline beta box its just not the same driving the truck.... I'll just hold off on the injector install.

As far as the big picture, 500 rwh at the minimum. Recently been shopping for turbos and think I have a pretty good idea on what I'll go with. And then theres always the big "plans" that never really seem to materialize like a monster vp & injectors, a 66, and so on and so forth. That'd be way later on if it ever did happen. But I feel like 500 rwhp is a very realistic goal for the time being. I just don't want to be another diesel owner whos got intake/exhuast/ and a box and thinks hes got something special.

Thanks for the input guys, figured I should have ask this question on here first.

Yeah, we tend to cater to the performance enthusiast. They cater to the camper hauler. :poke: LOL Install the injectors and just watch the FP. You'll be just fine.
