If I have an SFI blanket for an NV5600, and I'm going to a drop box/reverser, can I just cut it down to fit?

Exactly, Nobody can alter the SFI rating or contruction. If altered it would fail tech, and is no longer SFI rated.

What if the Reverser is mounted to the original NV5600 bellhousing? The blanket is there for the clutch not the trans. right?

You need the knife that Jimme Johnson ws using to alter his SFI firesuit last month when he cut his finger. They let him race so you should be good to go.

So I did a search for SFI scissors. Couldn't find them.
I did find some German scissors, and Germans are smart so.....
