For those of you that haven't seen them, here are some photos and videos of our 4 hooks in DHRA Houston, 2007.

This was the last hook of the year for us and it was a great way to end the season.
I placed 2nd place by less than 2 feet in Street Class, & took 1st in Super Street on Saturday
Sunday we came back and took 4th in Street Class & 2nd in Super Street.

Thanks! I've got a video of his truck, runs nice!.. I'll post it up if you like, what is his name so I can put it in the video description?

Thanks!

Garrett I like the beer chest in the back! J/K Whats it take one run to make it from solid to a liquid???? Cant wait to see it out next year so I can check it out in person! It would be nice to make it to a hook over in your neck of the woods if I can just for a little one day vacation, do you guys have a 2.5" Class out their?

Basically we start with 10 gallons of water in the cooler, add 80lbs of ice run it.
There is a hose that sucks cold water from the bottom of the cooler which then runs through the core, then the hot water goes back into the cooler.

I can melt about 80lbs of ice in 1 or 2 hooks.

Nice vids Garrett.
What do you change on your truck to run 2 classes for those guys here that don't understand the difference?

I added water injection for the Super Street hooks.

This year, Super Street was a class allowing twins with a maximum inducer size of 3.2, water injection allowed, along with drop boxes and rockwell axles if you wanted to run them.

Other than that DHRA usually allow a class jump once per season. Houston was the exception.

EGT's? He has no idea. He has 8 gauges in it and still has no idea what kind of numbers he's seeing!!!:hehe:

Ride shot gun in the truck, your to busy praying it stays stright at 90mph to look at the gauges:evil . that will be taken care of in the off season thought. Nice hooks mabye next year I can make it to a couple more, and see the truck in action. The vids just don't do it, you have to be there.

But that's the problem!!! It's at 90MPH during the test beat run that he's looking at the gauges, instead of down the track! That's why we have to pray.

That truck could make the most devoted atheist a believer..... :evil

Wow awesome pulls Garrett!! What kind egt's you seeing on top?

I am usually watching the tach, but in most cases the EGTs are dropping from around 1700 degrees when I let out of it.

LOL, yea everytime we discuss something, he usually says I don't look at the XX gage.

I don't do much better, my BD X monitor usually gives me the answers.
