post up your pics of srw trucks with duals please. i like the idea of duals but i'm not a big fan of the srw with dualed up 12.50's look. wondering if anybody has pics with narrower tires out back. thinking about 16x6's with bfg at 235X85R16 (32X9.50R16). don't know how the narrower dual setup will compare but if i could get more of the narrowed rockwell dualed up aka "tubbed" look i think i would go for it. let me know what you guys think.

some of my reasoning too is i've read some about what people say (duals vs singles) & contact patch/psi. so maybe the narrower dual will still spread the load but since its a smaller contact patch it will give alittle more dig/traction. a happy medium???

Even with narrow tires, you will not tuck them like you can with a rockwell.

here's mine running 285/75/16 on the back.

On My brothers old truck (97 reg-cab) we ran duels on it and they tucked in just under his flares and worked great and didn't look dumb. Only pic I have on this come is the one with both of our trucks but you can see the duals in it.

here's mine running 285/75/16 on the back.

that looks pretty good, whats the setup? 2" spacer inside ?" between tires....
i know it won't tuck as much as a rockwell but the tires i want to go with are 2" narrower per tire. that with like a 12-14.50 out front will get the tires lined up closer front to back. cut down on the training wheel look alittle.

whats the setup on your brothers truck RyanB looks good....

also how wide are the wheels you guys are running? cause aren't standard dually wheels like 7-8", i could run 16x6's to get it even narrower.....

maybe its the 3rd gen thats wider then... hmm

but whatever the case guys that run 12.50's or 11.50's like above can't be running on a wheel that narrow..(16x6)

you most certainly can squeeze 33x12.50 on a 6" wide wheel...

i have 33x12.50R16.5 on my 16.5x6.75 wheels...i set of 6" pocket style fender flares would cover all but an inch maybe 2 if the tires. and with my 16x10's up front sticking out they line up nice and dont look like training wheels.

the angle of the pic makes it look weird, but looking straight down from the top of the bed, only 7" of the outside tire sticks out.

He was running a single wheel Dana80...axle was an early 2001 with the smaller diameter but wider brakedrums, no spacers or anything and he was running a set of 255/85r16's.(I ran the same size of my black truck)

im just just running a 3/4 in spacer between them.

wow didn't realize you could fit all that tire on a 6" wheel... looks good.
