Ported, polished, custom cam, larger valves , custom IP, custom A1000 fuel system, custom dual filter airbox, external wastegate, Pro52 charger, remote oil system, an lines everywhere, lots of chrome bits etc

Still have to build proper brackets for the shutoff cable and the airbox mount but not till the sheetmetal goes back on

Looks good. How bout that harmonic balancer? Everything looks good then you threw a rusty ole balance on their.

well havnt found the right one for a VE yet, and the one I ordered didnt fit
so if yall know of a fluidampr for a 89 VE let me know

n there aint no rust on thet balancer:bang, lol, we removed all the crud n such before we paitned it

i made the air shut off fromn a $12 blastgate

should be done the body work next week - will post pix of the finished truck then

It should be the wildest lookin Pro Street built in awhile I suspect

I have some questions.......VE PUMP????? Isn;t it going to be hard to keep that white frame clean?? Some nice fab work for sure

IKE

:clap::clap:
nice, i love the homehade stuff. hate the storebought.

well we finally got her runnin yesterday - man does this motor sound sweet

There is a decidedly different exhaust note with the cam and ported head - very sharp/crisp and it revs much easier

Barring any unforseen difficulties, we will be doing back to back pulls this Friday and Saturday nite.

Cant wait

we pull in Ontario Canada, and this weekend is Bolton and Burls Creek at the Truck nationals

No not the same truckas my avatar - thats my old gasser truck, this is a 96 F350 now (complete rebody from the 91 I ran last year) will have new pix of the new truck in a couple days when I am done the body work ready for paint

well we got er runnin last nite and whoah baby talk about teethin pains

Blew three different boots on three runs, got some oil blowby, a fuel leak, and then lost second gear cuz I guess the tranny isnt liking all the newfound power and huge traction increase with the 15.5/33's

The motor is unbeleivable - it spools the Pro52 just about instantly, drive pressure doesnt even start untill the turbo is already makin 20 lbs boost, and doesnt get to 1:1 pressure ratio till almost 45 lbs boost and from 20-50 lbs boost is like a lite switch - instant

There is lots more fuel (2 full turns on the fuel screw) and boost (externally gated down at the moment) available, but I think we will keep it dialed at this level till we get her tuned up.

In its current tune it is bellowin mostly huge amounts of grey smoke so the fuel is definitely gettin burned

The motor has an unbeleivably loud exhaust note - we have to wear ear plugs while driving with the stack right behind the cab - I have never heard a diesel sooooo LOUD in any class of racing - hell most gassers with open headers arent this loud

I will try to post some pics of the truck this weekend - cuz its a rush just lookin out over that big ol air scoop while drivin - reminds me of my draggin days

I would say my new Colt cam and the head work has paid off in spades as there is no doubt we are makin huge hp compared to last year.
