Its a tight fit.

Ya those S4's are a pain to fit....just wait til ya get to the air intake! Now thats tight!!!!!

Could always get a kit to relocate the filter from City Diesel ,sure made it nice on mine.

I can definatley relate, when I was putting mine in, I was just thinking "how in the HELL do people fit twins in here!?":hehe:

Joe

Looks just as tight as on my 02... so whats the problem? LOL

Is the compressor housing on the S-400 larger than a A5K?

I see the T3 to T4 adapter that pushes the turbo out more.

What size is the S-400

Not sure on the size comparison.

Where did you get the turbo from?

Why didnt you just flip the manifold? It'll give ya some more room

Yeah Chris yours is a bit tighter in there we will be doing that to an '03 here soon. The hood is in the way for it to face up the manifold.

We tried to pull with it the other night didn't work out to well so we switched out the exhaust housing today for a smaller one and I can build boost sitting still now so gonna try to hook again thursday, friday, saturday this week.

The wheel is 3" the housing in that pic is a 1.25. I could spool it driving around ok but not to pull with a tight auto. Now with the smaller housing it goes about lke the 66 S300 that was on it. Still haven't turnt up the fueling yet though.

With the title, I was expecting pictures of something other than a truck.

Wow, those are a tight fit on the 3rd gens. Looks awesome though!

Pretty much identical. The A5K sits tighter to the manifold because of the exhaust housing.
