Dropped off the motor at the machine shop yesterday and need to tell him what clearance to give on the pistons. I was thinking 8 thousandths also he does not have a deck torque plate and I will be going 20 over. This is a motor that will run 4500 to 5000 with no street involved. Whats a good number to shoot for.
Thanks

I did mine with a torque plate and went to .011. built for 5000 rpm too. I don't know it it will ever see 5000 rpm but I can sound cool telling people it can...
