Piston ding, can i use???

im going to put my rebuilt 12 valve in my truck this weekend and i noticed a small ding in my piston, could it cause a hot spot

I'm no pro with pistons, but I'd replace just in case.

We have a stack of stock pistons if you need one. They're all thrown in a box but I'm sure I could find a good one.
