Piston question

I know that you dont want to run marine injectors on stock pistons, but is it bad to run it the other way around? I plan on rebuilding my motor with .020 over mahle marine big bowl pistons and didnt know if i needed to get a set of injectors while i was at it.

It doesn't seem to hurt anything. If anything, I can get away with injecting the fuel in even earlier.
