plastic intercooler WTF??

i thought they didnt hold up to pressures above stock???? im waiting for it to pop so that i can put something else in there but my SPS has touched 40psi and my IC is still holding on!!! what gives? at what psi did everyone else pop theirs?

i had 48psi through my stock plastic intercooler for months...never missed a beat

Mine saw 55psi on short bursts and held strong until I swapped it.

53K miles with the last 6-7K or so at my max psi of 48.............

Still holding strong!! I've actually Very surprised!!

I hit 45 psi and it blew out the rubber seal where it is crimp on passenger side tank

I hit 42-45psi forever without a problem. But swapped it out anyway. Didn't want to be THAT guy on the side of the road...:bang
