Ok guys, talked to NTPA and as of now the superstock diesel fourwheel drive trucks WILL NOT have a class at bowling green! I know most of you dont know what BG is but it is the superbowl of truck and tractor pulling! even if you dont have a mod truck please push to get us in. It will be a great day for diesel trucks! Finnally getting the notirary of the tractors and all the other classes! They said there thinking about dropping the light super stock tractors and add the super stock trucks this yr but need to hear what the people want. Please call in and tell them you want the sstrucks in. Even if you dont live in ohio or never plan on going it will be a great barrier broken down and hopefully diesel trucks state wide will be recogniced as all the other big pullers! Thanks so much

email sent Cory, but I don't think your class has the numbers yet to get there.
It may take a petition-from sponsors as well as fans.

Don't forget, these are tractor guys, that do not want to be upstaged by the newbie Diesel pick up guys.

The biggest thing we have going for us, other than the exitement of the class itself, is that alot of the competitors in all the other classes would rather watch anthing other than SF's, I personally like them to an extent, and there are alot of them which means more income from registration and membership, which isn't good for us having lower numbers.
FWIW i sent an email and am asking everyone that will listen to do so as well.

Well the numbers i understand but if we can get all the mod trucks to show including bbd ill help pay for fuel! to show up and put on a show it will finally level the playing field for trucks and tractors. cause if we do get in and dont mae a good showing and only have 4 trucks we will never be presented the opportunity again.... they said they planned on 09 having a grand national class for us but have been gettin alot of pressure to make it this yr.. so thats y i want to get you guys to help cause they go in to meetings the first of the yr! also gene my sponsors are hanging a couple of things over the ntpa heads with that so that should help greatly and also if you could gene pm or give me a call sometime.

Too bad I moved down here to Florida after the Court House pull, I'd love to see you guys run at Bowling Green, besides you building a new truck Cory, is there any other mod diesels being built for 08? It would be you, Eric, Van, Kurt, Scott (maybe if he makes the drive) Ben, and Kent, I cant think of anyone else that runs that class off hand that would be willing to drive to BG, would they possibly let the Super Street trucks jump up and run the Mod class with you guys? Cause then you could get Ted Sterner, Kyle Michaels and a few others to run for sure.....I would really hate to see you guys put on a great show like at Court House with 6 or 7 trucks, then they dont ask you back because of low numbers, oh and I will be sending my email as soon as I finish typing this.....

more info i was told to make ur point heard you must contact the blue shirts aka the owners of a private sanction group called pull town usa! please send ur concerns to; Phone: 1-888-FULPULL (385-7855) and email to; Info@PullTown.com

Thank you!

please people make ur point heard! even if you dont live remotely close to ohio this will make a huge mark in diesel truck pulling history!!! please make ur point heard! lets be known as the class that can be recognized as the big boys!!! Even the 2.5 guys make ur point be heard as tractor pullimg started as antique tractor pulling an exploded into what is today! everyone is involved with this! all the way from stock to mod make this the post that put diesel trucks on the map!!! thanks for all the help as i am doing everything in my power to make this possiable!!

Isn't the NTPA slowly going a way? PPL taking over? Does the NTPA even have a set of rules for any diesel class? Last I heard they had rules for 1 year that were total crap and had a pick up pull and only had a couple of trucks show up. I would rather see Mod trucks at Louisville KY.

Uh nope pretty sure the NTPA will be around for a while and yes NTPA does have a set of rules and a class for us already as of now there will 9 events for us. And mod trucks will never get into Louisville until we can make a good showing at Bowling green.

that pretty much sums it up Cory.....

they have allready said that any truck speced to there rules can pull. but isn't it about 700.00 to become a member/puller.

I beleive you must join NTPA and then get a driver # and a truck # witch all cost ya. and then since it is a regoinal class you also have to become a Wolverine pullers member and again get a drivers # and truck #. but I guess the upside is you never again all year have to pay to hook and aren't they havin a 2000.00 payout? along with pionts payout?

"It doesn't look like there will be diesel Super Stock 4x4's at BG, but the NTPA looks to have several classes at the National level. Thanks for your interest in NTPA Championship Pulling!"

i may be wrong but dont they allow the mod class diesels to run with the 6200 lb smfwd class at bowling green.
