PO122 Code

Okay so I'm gettin some dead pedal pump is brand spankin new so its not that. Can't build hardly any boost feels like some electrical limitation. Feels like apps is going bad. Checked the voltage at the pins on the apps plug and three of six got five volts, so does this mean I just need a new apps or what?Any help is appreciated thanks

You could do the APPS cleaning procedure, it works sometimes.

I found a place where I can get a brand new one for about $160. Think I would be better off just doing that? The 122 code is basically stating that the apps is going bad correct? Or does it mean its not getting enough volts? Little confused since I hear that people who get this code usually cure it with a new apps

I'm trying to get one of those $160 jobs as we speak. It so bad right now the throttle might as well not be there.

I wish I could have paid $160...

I think my problem was a bad VP though, the problem was still there after I replced the APPS. I have a APPS ina box in my shed now.

A guy named Timbo found him on DTR he sells one that was used by navistar in over the road trucks which had a cummins in them. Its made by williams not cummins but is said to be more robust and less prone to failure than ours. Heres his email and number Timbom1976@aol.com 717-577-1464. My pedal is bad too gettin some big dead spots. I have the 122 and 121 codes, and I checked my voltage at the pcm on the orange blue tracer wire and it said like.26. Tried adjusting apps and couldnt get the reading to change. Tried it with a buddys and same thing, but his is a little messed too, so I dont know what to do. New apps or what?
