Who sells an injector pop off test fixture for the 24V injectors?

Don't have a price yet. I called a semi-local injection shop looking for springs and shims, and the guy said he can get the testers. He is working up a quote for me.

Just the adapter was around $125 if I remember correctly (holds the 24V injector and allows connection to a normal sytle line)...

Do you already have pop tester or need everything?

Dont know if you were talking to me, but i would need everything. Got too many buddies that are always looking for someone to do it and with my recent p-pump swap i could use one to play with pop pressures as well.

Finally got everything squared away with this. Should have my stuff next week. The only thing I won't have is the shims. I wanted to do some playing with the depth and see what range of shims i will be needing to get them set. Then I'll order a dozen or so of each within that range.

Good info, maybe your supplier can sell me some too. I need 2 each .066" to .080".

Got my pop off tester yesterday. Looks ok. I'd prefer cast iron to cast aluminum, but the guy says it will be fine. Nice big dial should be easy to read. Still waiting on the 24V adapter. The tester is made in Italy, Zeba, or Zena, or something like that.

Yes, it's Zeca. Zeca is probably Italian for garbage, but it's what i have. It was around $400. I don't have the 24V adapter yet(it's a Bosch part), so I'm still waiting.

I've had a chance to use this a bit. I have no complaints. Seems pretty simple to use and it isn't hard to get the injectors adjusted to the right pressure. It is time consuming though. One of those things that i won't do very often so i probably won't get the knack of doing it quickly. Shims are the main issue for someone starting out. They run from around $3.50 to $5.50 each and there are about 50 different sizes. I bit the bullet and ordered a bunch of them so i would have what i need.

On the 24v stuff I usually put the body in the lathe and face it to raise the opening pressure, have to alter shim thickness to drop it, just depends on how far off it is. For future reference, 0.001" shim height alteration is ~ 5BAR.
