I've searched and came up with a few answers but I want to answer a few more questions.

First, the truck is an 08 6.7. Stock LP, stock CP3, stock injectors. Stock turbo. Egr dpf delete. Smarty. 4" exhaust. DD. clutch. S&B Intake.

Curious what my power should be now, and what it would jump to with a fass or air dog and a fleece cheetah. I don't really want to do anything with the injectors and cp3 for now.

Also what the safest max HP/TQ on stock rods? I've read 750hp. Is that correct?

The power number isn't the limiting factor of the rods its where and how you make the power.

Your power guesstimate's are better off to be found by research and testing. Most people here will say to dyno it or stfu.

Ya I figured that much. I'd like to Dyno it but none of the ones around here load the truck very well.

I DD the truck everyday. It will tow between 20-26,000 gross occasionally so I want quick spool. I also want to be able to play around in the work stock around here. The low rpm torque is fun but I don't want curvy rods or inspection holes either. I just hate to cut the torque out of a motor that shines in that aspect.

If you are towing that heavy, your best bet is to leave that thing stock. If you wanna play buy a beater!

That's gross. So 4k trailer and 8k truck. 7k tow truck. Just the possibility of more but probably not often if ever.

Having good luck with my setup for towing heavy and everything in between. Im running a S366 with gdp 100 hp nozzles on a stock cp3. Gross anywhere from 16k-38k lbs. temps at my heaviest dont get much above 1050*. Go to the track with the same truck and make 14 sec passes in an 8400lb stick truck. If i cut my 60' down and throw a little boost at it off the line shes a mid to high 13 sec truck that can still tow heavy no issues. Gonna bump up to a 467 over the winter and do the same things with the truck. I think youd be fine swapping turbos if you have the right supportings mods and tuning to tow that light.

Thanks for the info. Do you have a stock lift pump still

Running an AirDog 165 with a stock cp3. Rail pressure isnt a problem until i throw the big tune on it for the track. It takes a little longer to build the rail pressure but for now its good enough.

No MCC via a mini maxx. I assume your on your phone? Everythings listed in my sig. I have a G56 as well so spooling a bigger turbo is a little easier than an auto. I was a little skeptical on a S467 spooling good enough for towing thats why i went 366. The s366 lights very quick even when i had stock fuel. Only problem on stock fuel was it would get hot towing heavy. Nozzles changed the EGT issue i was having. 467 is supposed to light just as quick and be more durable so im trying one at some point over the winter.

Ya tapa talk on the phone. I have smarty right now. Might go efi soon though.

You have 3.42's I have 3:73 that probably helps take some load off and keep the rpm up and heat down too.
