Power steering fluid leak on a 96

The shaft between the pumps looks wet. Don't know if it's leaking up there or not. Can't easily tell. What is the likely leak point for PS fluid?

Doing some reading on the subject, referencing an O ring, but i think that's for the Vacuum Pump, not sure.

It's up to you..The front seal can be changed...But, if the pump has a pile of miles on it, it might be wiser just to replace it.
 
partsguy is right on the money here

i just replaced the seal on mine... no more leaks... but i did that about four years ago...

I agree. I've got 215k miles on right now. I see Napa has remans. $27 core charge. Is the Napa reman ok?
 
I've used them with no issues. Thinking they are less than $100. Have also resealed them. The coupling is a booger to R&R.
