power steering help

There have been a few complaints about the steering on these trucks.
As advised, I would first change the fluid. There is also a small screen that may need to be cleaned inside the pump. A quick search here (or on google) can show you how to take care of that.
I honestly don't beleive the problem is with the pump, I think it is with the gear box. I had issues with my power steering "cutting out" when I was in parking lots. It was like I lost all assist. However, once I put the 3rd gen box on, I rarely, if ever, feel like I lose power steering. Just my humble 2c.
