This past weekend at the Buda dyno, I put my scanner on a couple trucks to log some data and thought it was a cool look at what the trucks go through.

Here is Ryan Stones truck that made 530hp which we all thought was kinda low for what he had. The run was made in 5th gear. Here are a list of mods...

SPS62/14
Smarty TNT(not sure what settings)
Dr. P pressure box (100hp setting)
AP90hp injectors
BD lift pump
Valair DD

The scanner reads kps and not psi so dont pay alot of attention to the numbers as we all go by psi. You can see the fuel pressure setpoint (which is what the ecm is asking for) is asking for 16002 and only sees 13245.

Here are all three runs with more readings, you can see how the coolant temp goes up, and the rail psi is higher on the last two runs. The first run made 522, second made 530, and third made 524 I believe.

Thanks Bodie for the information that is a pretty cool tool that you have. I guess I am just going have to order me a bigger cp3 through you. Bodie in a few weeks I am going to run down to relentless and do a little more dynoing maybe I get a little more time to play with some setting. Just could not get the truck to spool up none.

Well, the pressure and boost numbers will be off due to the folling hte DR P. box does. If you can figure out the offset it's doing, your going to be all right.

Yeah I was wondering how all that was going to be affected, but it is nice to see how they ramp up, or fall off. I can only read timing on 06-07 trucks though.

Like on Brandon's I couldn't get a timing reading, as its an 04.

The boost chart makes sense to me, what is with the noise/oscillation in the fuel pressure (actual and commanded) before the boost comes on?

I must be missing something.

So the fuel set is the demanded and the fuel psi is the actual, correct. Well if you will look it is shy on the delivery but it is still not asking for full rail psi, this was with the rp on the smarty on 4. WTF!?!
