Have a 47RE that was original done by ATS a few years ago. It has a regular flex band in it for 2nd gear apply. I know there are rigid bands out there with several different clutch meterials offered. Want to know the pros and cons of each. This is in a high horsepower 12V 750 to 1000HP looking to drag race. Also any thoughts on the the billet direct drums available and weather to run it with 7 thin frictions or 5 or 6 thick frictions.
