Lets see some pics of what yall run while youre on the track. I just leave mine open with no intake tube or anything, but I want to fab something up to use.

Ic I'm going to run a tube to a rain cap with a spring, to act as an air shut off, for now. Call it redneck if you will but me thinks it will work.

kinda hard to see it in this pic, ill take better pics later.

i have a rubber couple made to go from 4" PVC (small end) to 4" terra cotta (actually measures 5" inside, big end) then a custom hill jack engineering mitered elbow made of 4" exhaust. its bolted into a blast gate from a wood working/dust collection system i found on ebay, its a 5" model and cost about $12. a little custom fabrication on it and it works great for my shut-off.

I like the ones that appear into the bumper. Troy Wakemans dmax has one and they look slick!

I have thought about that. Running one down to the bumper with a big shiny bellmouth. Not sure how well people would take that in the Street class though LOL

Who cares what people think. As long as its legal. They are more than welcome to do the same thing if you ask me. Changing your decisions to your truck because of cry babies wont get your truck to the level you want/need!

If you don't remove headlight housings or corner markers, it should be ok. I've seen tech not pass trucks because of missing headlights around here.

Funny, cause I see trucks on the street all the time around here that those techs would fail.:bang
