pulling hitch

If your truck is close to 26" when that is installed, why would you need to adjust it?

Most guys here just use a ball mount with a clevis where the ball would go.

Most guys here just use a ball mount with a clevis where the ball would go. I think it's either 2" or 2.5" for us. I know that a lunette works fine either way.
 
not concerned with adjustment wont be pulling alot, but if id ill do the adjustable style for sure.
 
ID on the ring is too small most places you will need a minimum 3inch ID to fit the hook but like was said above most want 3.5inch's
 
those are a 3 inch opening i beleave i have one i worked good it was a little low for 26inch height on my truck but i am making a new one for this year that i can adjust

I have a lunette ring identical to that one that I got at Tractor Supply. The hole in the middle is too small for my liking.

yea your right it is 21/2 id i never had a problem with it only once did some one say something and they said it wasnt strong enough for pulling plus i also talked to a sled owner and he said 2 1/2 is kinda small but works fine i shouldnt worry about it
