Push rod lenght???

I was wondering what length of push rod i need. I will be running the 24 valve lifters because of the bigger ball end and are going to come from Smith Brothers Push Rods.So with that being said since the rods will have the bigger ball and mess with the length, how long do they need to be total? Any help will be much appreciated!:bow:

I think maybe there is a misunderstanding. The bottom of the tappet is bigger, not the socket side (the side where the ball end of the pushrod rides). Provides more contact area against the lobe of the cam. The pushrods are the same...if I'm not mistaken.

Hard to believe that wherever you purchased the parts would be unable to help you with this. Unless I'm in outer space. Wouldnt be the first time, though.
