I got on the dyno the other day and made decent to moderate power. The whole time it was running on the dyno though the map was jumping up and down the whole power band. I talked to qzilla and we thought it would possibly be the map sensor. I never read more than 20psi on the pulse. I decided to go buy a new map sensor and see if that was it. I couldn't get it loose so I just unplugged it and drove down the road. Now the pulse only shows 9-12psi but it will pull all the way to redline. No hesitation in the powerband and it smokes better. Anybody have an idea why its doing that???

FYI: I am going to install a new map sensor wed. when I get a new smarty to stack on top of it.:snoop: I just want the quad to read it correctly.

What happened when you installed the new MAP sensor?

The pulse is still reading boost after being unplugged? That leads me to believe something is wrong with the quad.. If it isn't plugged in, how is it reading boost?

If the quad is reading boost with the map unplugged then its something wrong with the quad.
