So the other day my wife had to drive my truck to my mother-n-laws she called and said when she got back n to leave she turned key on and nothing would come on, so I told her to leave it and I would fool with it later. Well a few hours later get a phone call from father-n-law said fuel pump was running and no key was n ignition so I told him to unhook battery and pull fuse for fuel pump. When I got home battery was dead so hook battery charger to it and with no key n ignition dash lights came on, solenoids were clicking and wouldn't start so for some reason I reached over and pulled the wire out that hooks quadzilla to fuse box. The lights went over and everything turned off as if should with ignition off, I reached over and hit the key and th truck then started. So I'm guessing something in the quad module shorted to power and was back feeding the fuse panel. Quad screen won't even come on now, and when I went to drive the truck with quad unhooked figuring it was fried anyway but now the truck has no power at all would barely back out of my shop. Has anyone experienced problems like thus could it of hurt something else? Any input is appreciated! Thanks

Possibly fried the quad and now it needs flashed? I could see that... Hope it's that simple... Or even something easier. Lol she rodded it so hard the truck just couldn't take anymore :hehe:

Let us know why happens ya never know when someone else's quad will do this

i was diagnosing a turbo timer issue with mine and the pulse wouldnt come on without that red/white wire plugged into the fusebox.

Also, on your way home did you disconnect the box completely, sensors and all, or just the fuse box wire?

Well at first I just unhooked power but then realized I had to disconnect the leg between map sensor. I figured it was beyond me firguring out so took it to a guy he hooked to scanner said computer not reconizing map sensor so either map sensor bad or ECM bad I replaced map a few months back was still under warranty so I'll try free parts first cause a reman ECM is 480$. I also talked to quadzilla they said it shouldn't have hurt anything else but who knows said I could send it in and they could fix for about 100$
