Question about pump tapping

I just got a Jvd box from Travis G trying to get to work on my truck I got/had a comp box on it and plugged the wire tap from the Jvd to where my comp box was tapped and it doesn't appear to work my question is does Jvd box tap into to the same wire as the comp box does/did any info would be much appreciated I know this is old school technology but I been looking for this for awhile n finally got one and am dead set on getting it to work

i should be the same.
 
searched and found a little info. Never heard of this box, but there's only one wire on the pump to tap for added power.
 
Wasnt there supposed to be a defueling module to run with this box also? Its been along time since Ive read anything on one. I do remember people saying it fueled hard

yes there was an a.d.d. box it didnt do boost fueling so it had an anti defueling device. neat box just most people moved up to the fancier all included boxes.
