So I know I've heard this a few times, but will a thicker type of trans fluid "tighten up" your torque converter.
I've heard of people using things like Universal Tractor Fluid and such and claiming it dropped a couple hundred rpm's off their stall speed.

Any of you guys experiment with this?
It would be nice to hear some first hand experience before I waste money and/or screw things up.

Running it in several vehicles, works good. Stick with good quality stuff like John Deere or such. I don't know about truck trans but some of the off brand stuff causes the facings to come off of the brakes and clutches in some brands of tractors.

i put it in the slipping trans of my DD nissan pickup. tighten everything up and doesnt slip until the fluid leaks out. put it in the c6 in my bronco also, tightened it up also. i am a believer
