bought a turbo for my pullin truck and instead of buyin a new down pipe was just goin to go ahead and put the hood stack in

just wonderin if you guys were bendin a straight piece of 5"" into what you were needin

or were you able to buy prebent 90s?

goin to put a 6" miter how much above the hood do most guys have? was thinkin bout 12".... don't like the overly tall ones

grand rock sells a kit but we always just get 90s and start cutting and welding

Thats all Ive ever done. Get a flange from Source Auto or were ever, 3 90's......just start cutting and welding til you get it to were you want it to come out. Although that sounds simple enough....its takes a while to get it just right!!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^what he said..... as far as height lower does look better but it makes a big mess on your paint [kinda annoying cleaning your truck after everytime you run it].

Heres how mine was done. Cant see te welds for the header wrap. I used 2, 4 inch 90s and one 5 inch which sticks about 2 inches over the hood. My stack is 6 inch. Tack welded to the braces. My stack is 12 inche altogether.
