question on DHD transfer case

ok..so i cant seem to find a used housing for cheap, so im looking at have it welded where its cracked. its cracked on the rear tail housing around one of the bolts. my question is if i go to take the rear tail housing off, there is a bushing in there that will come out with it. is that bushing re-usable?

also what are some of your opinons on buying a new tail housing vs having my old one patched up?

I would get a new or good used one. I have rebuilt several for my old puller and don't remember ever buying a bushing for the rear housing just a bearing that I can remember.
I have a rebuilt one I had for a spare, it also has the syncros removed for pulling.

the only issue with find a used one is i need the one with the speed sensor in the rear tail housing.
