Question on wheel fitment

Lets see if i got this? The only thing that changed in 05 and up wheels was the back spacing witch was causing them to rub on the 99-04 leaf spring? The center bore is still 4.93 and the bolt pattern is still 8-170 except on drw's witch is 8-200? If im wrong just let me know. Thanks

Yep.

18 and 20s have 5.80" BS, and the 17s have 5.50" (I think).
Center bore and bolt pattern are the same.
350 DRW is 8x200
450/550 are 10x225 for the 05+

So a 99'-up wheel will fit an 05' but an 05' wheel won't fit anything older? Correct?

The 16" wheels want because the brakes are bigger on the 05 and up

00-04s came with 16s (unless it was a Harley Edition, they had 18s)...they don't clear the calipers on the 05-08s.
A 04 HD wheel would fit on a 05-08 since they were 18s, but they had less backspacing so they sit further out of the wheel wells on 05-08s.

05-08s fit on the 99-04, just rub on the leaf springs and sit further under the truck than they do on the 05-08.
