Bought a 96' 3500 2wd with new motor in it about 2 months ago. Well the tranny took a crap while I'm gathering parts to build it up. Well the spare truck we have (95 F-150 2wd) took a crap on me 2 days later. So now I have 2 trucks down and am considering taking two and making into 1. But the problem I have is I do have a 69' F100 2wd waiting for me to build a tranny and motor for it which would make a good canidate. My question is which one would give me less grief swapping the cummins into. Also since I do have a donor truck what am I looking at cost wise to do all this. The 95' is a regular cab short wheel base and the 69 is a regular cab long wheel base. Not looking to break any records or get astronomical fuel mileage, just want to be different.
