questions on commonrail head on 24v

what kind of work is involved with using a commonrail head on a 99 24v. something i havent done before tried to find specs on here but search sucks. how hard is it? will lines line up, will injectors still work and is there certain year commonrail head that will only work. buddy of mine removed head after finding stuff in coolant and found he cracked all 6 cylinders between valves or injector holes, couldnt tell off his pictures. just wondering if its easy to do commonrail or if he should just find another 24v head. thanks people need feedback

i believe all you have to do is modify a coolant opening in the head. not 100% but pretty sure that is all. someone will chime in that knows for sure
